JEFFERSON LANGLEY
As
of May 2013, Jefferson completed his latest assignment - writing and
developing the overall campaign and business model for PGF, a visionary
program establ;ished by former gang memebers from San Diego inner
cities. The program is created for current members of gangs and
disadvantaged kids looking for guidance and opportunities to turn their
lives around by becoming productive citizens of the future generations.
The founding members hired Jefferson for his creative ideas and
abilities to combine all the information in one image to help propel the
cause, not only through multi-media channels, but also through written
paraphernalia to seek support from communities nationwide.
Along
with his film, media, and various entrepreneurial passions, Jefferson
is helping establish The Foundation of Mindfulness: Meditation and
Wellness Center that is founded by a thirty year Master Teacher Monk
from Thailand. The center is dedicated to the mindfulness that creates
our everyday life more meaningful, effective and productive, leading to
our path of enlightenment, true peace and happiness. It is for all walks
of life, beliefs, religions, and modalities. The center is equipped
with meditation hall, 180 degree view, sitting areas, serene desert
grounds and walking trails for visitors to enjoy the peace and
tranquility of its surroundings. Prior to this, Jefferson was
commissioned to conceptualize and write a Kickstarter script/ campaign,
for producer Darrin Nupuf's new media, music and news website set
for android applications for undiscovered journalists to distribute
their stories on their own news pages. Prior to that, Jefferson was
hired to handle all media materials for WORLD PEACE CAMPAIGN 2012 and
it's board members. Jefferson developed a broad comedy pitch for former
investment bankers from Goldman-Sachs NYC.
Before
that, Jefferson was hired to re-write a 7-minute action film for a
global Mercedes Benz campaign to promote their new 2011 CLK. It is
being directed by well-known commercial and feature director Antony
Hoffman, whom is repped by ICM. Jefferson is attached to write, direct
and produce, EMPYREAN, a contained high-concept psychological thriller
trilogy. Jefferson’s most recent feature he developed, packaged and
produced is titled, “Not Forgotten,” starring Simon Baker, Paz Vega and
Claire Forlani, which was released in theaters late last fall by Anchor
Bay/ Overture Films.
Since 1993, Jefferson has been working in entertainment for some of the most well respected companies and people in Hollywood. During which he began his writing career penning material in the sci-fi, supernatural, action, thriller, suspense, mystery, adventure and fantasy genres. Some of the comments that have been expressed to describe Jefferson are “excellent plotter”, “incredible with action sequences,” “well-developed characters and arcs that resembles life in the truest form,” “a knack for cool and innovative high-concept hooks with wide commercial appeal,” “refreshing to meet a good guy with such a high creative skill,” and “Jefferson is destined for success in everything he chooses to do” just to quote a few.
Jefferson
began to achieve success and respect when his feature film debut
titled, “Random Acts of Violence,” a thriller that he wrote, directed,
and produced that received acclaim by sold out audiences at festivals
who described the film as “sensationally daring and bold filmmaking,
pushing the envelope with a raw youthful Oliver Stone flare and gritty
punch of Tarantino.” From the success of the film, Jefferson was signed
by John Sheinberg’s management/production firm The Bubble Factory, where
he developed numerous projects for the company. Jefferson went on
to co-found a boutique production and financing company with a financier
from Menlo Park. He was President of Development and Production for over
two years managing the slate of projects. He then branched out and went
on to sell/write a treatment, The Land of Fruits and Nuts, for
Breakthrough Films with a first look deal with Flower Films.
IMA WATKINS
Presently, Miss Watkins is
helping establish The Foundation of Mindfulness: Meditation and Wellness

Currently, Ima is producing
EMPYREAN under her ABETHIA banner, a contained psychological thriller
bending reality, parallel worlds and a man chasing an unforeseen killer
destined to become an archangel. She is also shepherding two novels for
the company, one of which surrounds the infamous Jack the Ripper tale
about murder, intrigue and deception. The other novel is a true
story drama about a string of forty-eight young girls that were raped
and murdered in south Texas by a young serial killer. Due to corrupt
politicians and his father, a local sheriff, that used his power and
intimidation techniques to protect his son who all the evidence pointed
to went to his grave without being charged for the crimes. Ima’s
passion to bring awareness surrounding corruption in law enforcement,
help victims of violent crimes have resources and bring closure to the
families of unsolved crimes.
She
is also heading up an online multi-media project for the company
titled, Trapped, an interactive social media web series surrounding two
characters, who become the victims of a deadly game of a dark and
mysterious world, where viewers will help find hidden clues to
help them get out of their environment before they are lost forever.
Before this, Ms. Watkins has been working in various capacities of the
entertainment business since the nineteen eighties, where she started as
a guardian for a child star and casting extras on her first feature
film titled Maricela for Wonderworks Theater/PBS. This lead her into
extras casting/features players for feature films such as; Stand and
Deliver & Vietnam War Stories for HBO, Robert Townsend’s The Five
Heartbeats, HBO’s Billy Crystal’s Midnight Train to Moscow, and In A
Shallow Grave starring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Biehn. She also
worked as a producer’s assistant for producers Barry Jossen and Ron
Wolatsky on various productions.
Ima
then took the challenge moving into make-up assisting for well-known
artist Deborah La Mia Denaver on such cult classics as; Less Than Zero
starring Robert Downey Jr. Ima took her passion for quality stories and
the creative process, by founding her own music video/ commercial
production company for over ten years where she built her leadership
expertise and body of work. Ima diversified herself by working for two
Latino based companies, DirectTv Latin America and Channel 22, where she
was an editor for spanish speaking content. Soon after, she went to
work for Socal.com, an online news and entertainment magazine, as
managing editor of online written and video content, overseeing all
aspects of the magazine from marketing to public relations to
production. Her passion and dream of an online multi-media portal on the
internet was becoming more realized as she learned more aspects of the
industry while covering personal interest stories about cooking to the
Lakers to interviews with A-list talent like George Lucas, Bruce Willis,
and James Cameron. She further established the magazine and her
reputation as a resolute entrepreneur and businesswoman by becoming
a staple at the various award shows and events throughout the industry.
